PSG have drawn up plans for Kylian Mbappe exit with Real Madrid awaiting transfer decision after setting strict January deadline

Real initially formalised their interest in Mbappe back in 2021, but saw multiple bids for the PSG talisman turned down, including one that reached the €200 million (£174m/$221m) mark. Mbappe ended up signing a new deal at Parc des Princes in May 2022, but that agreement is due to expire this summer and there has been no sign of another renewal being put in place as yet, with Real Madrid still eager to bring him onto their books.

Real are now aiming to force Mbappe's hand, having reportedly set a mid-January deadline for the 25-year-old to make a final decision on his future. PSG are expecting another big offer from the Spanish giants in the coming days, and according to The Athletic, they have already "drawn up budgets and plans" in preparation for the potential departure of their star forward.
