The Brooklyn Nets are in advanced discussion with veteran forward Markief Morris, Marc Stein reported Sunday. Morris has been a free agent after spending two seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers and the Miami Heat.
Morris, a 32-year-old 6’8” power forward, is an unrestricted free agent and the Nets currently have two openings on their 15-man roster. With the Kevin Durant trade request rescinded, and the Nets do not need to keep roster spots open.
