Man Utd loanee Mason Greenwood emerges as a transfer target for two top La Liga clubs after impressive start at Getafe – with Old Trafford return ‘highly unlikely’

According to The Sun, both Valencia and Real Sociedad are currently monitoring the 22-year-old forward, as they assess a possible move in the summer transfer window. Greenwood's loan deal at Getafe is due to expire at the end of the season, with the report adding that a possible return to Old Trafford is "highly unlikely".

Greenwood moved to La Liga with Getafe this summer and has recaptured some of his finest form since arriving in Spain, with four goals across his 11 starts so far. His finest goal arrived in his most recent outing, as he netted a sensational equaliser against Almeria on the way to a 2-1 win for Getafe, who now sit in eighth place across the top flight of Spanish football.
