Kalvin Phillips’ next club: West Ham leading race to sign Man City outcast as treble winners reveal conditions of loan exit

The midfielder has been told that he has no future at the Etihad and can seek greener pastures in the January transfer window to get more minutes under his belt so that he remains in contention for a spot in the England squad for the upcoming Euro 2024 later this year. According to Standard, the Hammers are the frontrunners to land Phillips but face significant competition from Crystal Palace and even La Liga giants Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.

City are aware that there is no dearth of suitors for Phillips. However, they demand that his £135,000-a-week wages must be borne in full by his potential suitors if he is signed on loan in the winter window.
