Benjamin Pavard Faces a Minimum One-Month Absence Following a Knee Injury, Announced by Inter Milan on Monday
Serie A frontrunners, Inter Milan, disclosed that Pavard will have to utilize a knee brace for a duration of three to four weeks as part of his rehabilitation process. This decision comes after he dislocated a ligament in his left knee during Saturday's 2-1 victory against Atalanta.
While Inter Milan did not specify the exact length of Pavard's absence, reports in the Italian media suggest that he may not return to action before the end of the year.
Pavard was carried off the field on a stretcher during the Atalanta match, which helped maintain Inter's two-point lead in Italy's top league.
The 27-year-old will be unavailable for Wednesday's Champions League match against Salzburg, as well as France's final two Euro 2024 qualifiers against Gibraltar and Greece. Les Bleus currently lead Group B by six points over Greece and the Netherlands, having already secured their place in next summer's tournament in Germany.
